Thank yous: To suchalilyofthevalley and shia_labeouf, my betas to whom I’m eternally grateful. They listened to my whining and cheered me on and most importantly, helped me get my shit together when I needed it. This would be ten times worse without the two of them. To aelora, starnova, and seeclarity, who have better memories of the 80s than I do and allowed me to pick their brains, and to vivaceburi who asked the age old question, “What did people wear in the 80s?” To Katy Perry, without whom the second to last scene wouldn’t exist and by extension, this fic because whole thing was built around that (and I can’t believe I just thanked Katy Perry in my notes, oh my god). To my wonderful artist, artsnletters, who I’m declaring the unofficial rockstar of this big bang. She not only took on three prompts, one days before the deadline, but when her hard drive failed with hours to go, she started all over again like a champ and produced some of the most awesome art ever, and then came back around and asked if I wanted some more. I lead an artsnletters appreciation life. Finally, to anyone who stuck with me through each part of this trilogy. The 80s are over, but I suppose there’s still the 90s for someone to tackle. (By which I mean: someone other than me.)
